This year you can again get a cheap and comfy train to the Nova Rock Festival. Between the train station Nickelsdorf and the festival a shuttle bus is operating in both directions in order to get you to and from the festival for a charge of 3 Euros each way.

Like in previous years there will also be a direct bus shuttle transfer from Vienna to the festival site.

Departure time in Vienna: (Bus terminal Erdberg), non-stop to the Nova Rock bus stop! No annoying traffic jams, no search for parking and no interchanges! Tents, sleeping bags and supplies all fit in the trunk, and off you go to the festival! It would also suit one-day ticket holders since the return journey to Vienna departs each day after the last concert has finished! Find all details here.

The festival site is situated in the village of Nickelsdorf in Burgenland and can be accessed directly through the eastbound motorway A4. The nearest exit is Nickelsdorf, which is just before the border crossing Nickelsdorf and gives you almost direct access onto the festival site. During peak arrival times there is also the possibility to access the festival through the prior exit Mönchhof. Please pay attention to the signposts that will be in place and of help. In case cars are queuing to exit please keep the left line clear in order to allow a smooth running traffic towards Hungary.

Please follow the traffic rules ? especially at the car park. In order to deliver a smooth running and safe festival we depend on escape- and supply routes. If the previously mentioned rules are not being adhered to, cars may be towed away as a result. The same applies if you obstruct other road users with your car.

When accessing the campsites tickets will be exchanged for wristbands. Our staff will supply the wristband and the wristbands are not transferable.

The Cash machine is located next to the right entrance of the party tent in the Partyzone. Since the machine sometimes needs a refill it’s recommended to bring enough cash.

A separate caravan camping area is within the parking, situated in walking distance, close to the entrance of the main festival area. Special caravan tickets are also available on www.musicticket.at. Please have your ticket ready for inspection when entering.

Access will only be granted for caravans and campers in possession of a valid caravan ticket.

Caravans are considered to be vehicles that can accommodate all its passengers in terms of sleeping and living space. Foldable caravans do also count for caravans.

The maximum length of any vehicle is 11 meters and the maximum permitted weight is limited to 3,5t.

Only one awning is permitted per caravan or camper, additionally due to health and safety issues sleeping within is not allowed. Tents next to e.g. station wagons, etc. are not permitted.

The Festival Organisation will not assume any liability for damages, injuries and theft occurred on the caravan parking!

The info point/ Lost& Found is between the campsite and Partyzone on the left side of the gates. There you can gather all festival relevant information as well as information on train- and bus schedules. The info point can also be accessed from the campsite.

At the wristband points you have to pay a 5 Euro Garbage Bag Deposit, which will be refunded after returning an at least half-full garbage bag. You can return your trash-bags from Saturday 4 pm till Monday 12 mid-day. Anyone who brings camping equipment along is deemed to be a camper and needs to pay the deposit.

Obviously our popular Partyzone is in place again this year. Every day from opening times till 5.00 am. Coupled with top party tunes there will be bungee jumping, a beer tent, as well as bull riding.

The entrance is on the left side next to the main stage (Blue Stage). Access is only granted with press wristband (pass). Please fill in appropriate form for accreditation in the press area on www.fmservice.at.

You can find sanitary camps not only on the campsite but also on the caravan parking and core area.

There are enough water-flushed toilets provided at the main first-aid camp on the campsite as well as on the caravan parking and core area of the Blue and Red Stage. Additionally portable toilets are in place on various positions.

There are drinking water points in the sanitary camps on the campsite and caravan parking, next to the Partyzone at the Blue Stage as well as with the toilets in the core area of the Red Stage.

The VIP area consists of a double-levelled tent set-up at the Blue Stage, plus a standing-platform on the Blue and Red Stage. For the VIP area just a limited amount of VIP tickets are sold, including VIP area access, standing-platforms with stage-view and VIP parking. VIP-tickets are also available on www.musicticket.at.

ATTENTION: Access to the VIP parking is definitely granted to everyone arriving well-timed. For anyone arriving late, it might be possible that no more free space is available in the VIP parking! When accessing please have your VIP ticket ready for inspection.

There will be a Wavebreaker at both stages, the „first come, first serve“ rule applies. If the wavebreaker is 70-80% full, access will be denied due to safety issues.
