The Cure

One of the worlds biggest and most iconic rock bands. Formed in Crawley, Sussex, England. Played its first show in 1978. Has performed around 1,500 concerts to date. Has released 13 studio albums, including ’Pornography‘, ‚Disintegration’ and ‘Bloodflowers’. Several concert films. A few live albums. Some soundtrack songs. More than 40 singles, including ’A Forest’, ‘Inbetween Days’, ‘Just Like Heaven’, ‘Lovesong’ and ’The End Of The World‘. A couple of box sets. A couple of books. A greatest hits thing. A handful of covers. And various other stuff… The band are estimated to have sold more than 30 million records worldwide. Celebrating 40 years since the release of their first album ‚Three Imaginary Boys’, a new album is scheduled for 2019.
The Cure has had 13 members. 2019 features 5 of them: ROBERT SMITH (VOICE & GUITARS) / SIMON GALLUP (BASS) / JASON COOPER (DRUMS) / ROGER O’DONNELL (KEYBOARDS) / REEVES GABRELS (GUITARS).
