Due to unpredictable weather conditions during an open-air event unexpected safety procedures (e.g. performance interruption, evacuation) might take place. Any important safety announcements will be communicated through speaker and by the security personnel. Instructions given by the security personnel must be followed immediately!

During open-air events, it may come to unexpected measures due to the weather conditions. (Interruption of performances, area evacuation, tent evacuation etc.). These measures are announced by speaker and by the security staff, as well as online. The orders of the security staff must be followed immediately! When entering Hungarian national territory, Hungarian Law will be applied in regards to any violation of law.

The brands of the event and the partners promoting the cooperation are protected. The use of their brand images and logos for their own advertising purposes (for example, by influencers, bloggers, etc.) is prohibited by trademark and competition law and violations could even be punished by criminal means; in any case, there are also enforceable claims for injunctive relief or claims for enrichment by way of a preliminary injunction. The organizer is certainly interested in further partnerships and offers the conversation – but this against a possible violation of his rights or the rights of his cooperation partners. On site, the organizer will enforce his rights against unwanted festival brand uses also with the help of the house rules.

Safety instructions concerning the house rules Nova Rock

By acquiring the admission ticket and/or the access to the festival area the following safety instructions are agreed upon and acknowledged. All persons who are present on the festival area are subject to the safety regulations. The compliance of the safety instructions is binding – A violation against them can be punished by being expelled from the festival area. The event organizer is executing her householder’s rights on the entirety of the area (including the campsite and the parking area). She is going to exercise these rights in case of violation against the house rules, the regulations, the safety instructions or other legal regulations. The revocation of the admission ticket and the expulsion from the area is connected with the deprivation of claims for refund, the deprivation of any further claims and costs for the expelled person.

The access to the area is only permitted to persons who are authorized by the event organizer and/or are in possession of a valid admission ticket. The event organizer is able to confiscate admission tickets without the obligation to compensate in case of misuse or the unauthorized transfer of admission tickets or identification cards. There is the possibility of the accumulation of other costs besides the ticket (e.g.: food and beverages, waste-collecting-fees, deposit on cups, …).

When entering the area, every person is obligated to unsolicited show his admission ticket or a different credential to the security service and/or the police and hand it over to them for verification. The transfer of admission tickets is not possible after entrance. Misuse is resulting in revocation of the admission ticket. Admission tickets are losing their value with entering the festival area and a wristband is donned to the visitor. There is no right to reenter the area if the visitor does not show his undamaged wristband and the devalued admission ticket. The Youth Protection Act of Burgenland will be applied.

The instructions of the event organizer, the security service appointed by him, the police and other authorities must be followed immediately. Persons who cannot prove their residence permit are expelled from the festival area.

In the festival area every person has to act as to not harm, endanger or hinder others and both the area and its facilities are to be used carefully and sparingly. It is not permitted to relieve oneself outside of the lavatory. Persons who are endangering the safety under the influence of alcohol or drugs or carry dangerous items or other forbidden items (e.g. pyrotechnics) with them can be expelled from the festival area or denied to enter it.

The security service is entitled to perform searches on clothes and brought items, both at the entrance and at the area, also with the help of technical devices. It is also entitled to confiscate forbidden items and check them. Entrance to the festival area and staying at the festival area can be denied for Visitors who refuse permission to these checks.

The organizer asks all visitors for their own safety to not bring bags, backpacks and containers of all kinds, which are expressly prohibited. What visitors do not necessarily need on the site should definitely be left at home, at the campsite or locked in the car. Apart from personal clothing, only mobile phones, purses, keychains, belt and small bags (< DIN A4) are allowed on the festival grounds – this also supports the admission controls.

In the entire festival area starting, flying and landing of pilotless aerospace systems is forbidden. Photographs, audio recordings, video recordings and other recordings must not be used for public replay – unless the event organizer gave a written permission.

Marked escape routes and doors must not be blocked and their function must not be changes by any way. All escape routes have to be unobstructed and the opening of escape doors is only allowed in emergency situations.

All kinds of advertising efforts and the act of attaching decorations or other items are forbidden. Distributing flyers, advertising material, magazines and suchlike and offering items for sale, as well as collecting money is forbidden.

Intermission / (partial) cancellation:

Due to security reasons (e.g. due to the weather or official orders) it may be necessary to vacate the area partially, entirely, temporary or lastingly. This will not cause a claim for a partial or full refund of the admission ticket price. Our instructions and those of the security service must be followed immediately and fully to prevent danger to life and limb. Our house rules are in force. Additional useful information is provided by us at our event-app.

Fundamentally the event takes place at all weathers. We reserve the possibility, in cases of dangerous situations due to the weather, to interrupt or cancel the event; the same applies to interruptions and/or cancellation due to official orders. We also reserve the right to change the program or the lineup. There are no demands or rights due to the cancellation of single performers. The same applies to changes of the program, the lineup or appointment, which are reserved to us and do not qualify a refund. The same also applies If there is a intermission and/or (partial) cancellations, if one or more performer was cancelled, or if the area is usable only partially due to higher forces (e.g. weather-related or due to an official order). The assumption and the replacement of costs/expenses (e.g. Hotel, travel expenses, shipping fees, Administrative charge, system fees etc.) is impossible and the liability of the event organiser is limited to the biggest-possible legal extent.

There will be intensified inspections because of the current unstable situation. Backpacksand similarly big carrying tools must not be carried over to the Main Area. Small bags and bum bags are permitted. There will be lockers available. We point out the prohibition of drones especially again. All other banned items are listed in our house rules.
