MONTREAL will be celebrating the band’s milestone birthday and the fact that the trio has now been around in its original line-up for two decades with a small, but fine concert tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the fall of 2023. 

„The three of us have been making music together in exactly this constellation since our school days and the fact that nothing has changed to this day and that at some point people even started listening to it and coming to concerts is something we feel very lucky about,“ says bassist/singer Hirsch, „many people will probably know from their own experience, or at least have an idea of how difficult it can be to stay together as friends over such a long period of time – and then to be able to keep a band going for so long and with so much fun is anything but a matter of course – and we want to celebrate this thoroughly this year,“ writes the band from the studio. 

Because in the anniversary year, the band will be celebrating their shared past with a short tour through selected clubs and accompanied by surprise guests from two decades of the band, but they will also be taking the plunge into their third decade – and MONTREAL have big plans for that…
